PHS Summer School Coordinator

Qualifications

Certified Teacher (preference will be given to candidates with Administrator Certification and/or prior experience with ESY Coordination)

• 1) Enrollment activities for students in ESY
• 2) Develop class list with staffing needs
• 3) Develop program schedules
• 4) Coordinate staffing with payroll
• 5) Coordinate transportation needs
• 6) Coordinate food service needs
• 7) Provide class rosters and support documents to teachers
• 8) Provide curriculum resources and program of studies for locations
• 9) Ongoing parent communication
• 10) Staff training and orientation
• 11) Supervision and evaluation of summer staff throughout ESY
• 12) Data collection, analysis and reporting (attendance, students’ academic progress, goals met)
• 13) Development of ESY handbook for staff
• 14) Budgetary needs and purchasing requests
• 15) Day to day logistical concerns and issues responsibility
• 16) Coordinate identification and enrollment of students and class assignments.
• 17) Oversee and assist in the development and implementation of summer school curriculum and programming.
