Responsibilities- Collaborate with school administration on a consistent basis.
- Oversee dual language faculty.
- Develop and lead multiple staff meetings with school staff.
- Schedule calendar of deadlines in association with NCC.
- Work closely with the building scheduler to ensure proper cohorts are developed.
- Ensure all contracts are current and funds are allocated.
- Organize collaborative meetings involving the integration of career-related courses into the building schedule and dual language programs.
- Frequently communicate with entire school faculty.
- Maintain records of teachers' certifications.
- Coordinate all transportation needs through the district transportation office.
- Communicate with office about teachers' coverages/trips/etc. and allocate funds.
- Coordinate PD with and around school PD as well as school schedule.
- Create and deliver in-house PD for dual language faculty.
- Provide information on current opportunities and requirements for new and existing courses available to be in the sequence.
- Review potential changes in plans of studies to ensure continuity with program.
- Communicate with guidance counselors of options for students and projected pathways.
- Collect, review and verify all intra-district applications.
- Lead an application review team to identify potential students.
- Communicate application results with all students.
- Communicate with department chairpersons and departments about status of existing courses as well as implementation of new courses.
- Help departments vertically align courses to prepare students for.
- Communicate with middle schools in regards to course alignments and pre-requisite.
- Communicate with feeder middle schools about PLTW.
- Visit schools, present at schools, and meet with students and guidance.
- Provide any needed updates to BOE and district leadership.
- Provide 2-3 evening events for potential students and parents to be informed on programs.
- Student application process and acceptance into the program.
- Present at the academic fair and other school-wide events.
- Work with local media to publish student achievement and celebrate community connections.
- Develop partnerships to facilitate student visits, internships, scholarships.
- Main point of contact to all stakeholders.
- Responsible for answering any and all inquiries.
- Ensure that relevant information is available on the school website.
