Job Summary
On-site in Springfield, MA. Relocation assistance available. Compensation $100,000 per year, paid weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage starts day one.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate one‑hour life skill workshops on public speaking, concentration, collaboration, and feedback exchange for Pre‑K through 8th grade students.
- Conduct daily individual and small‑group motivational sessions to review progress in adaptive learning platforms (Coachbot analytics), set objectives, and ensure 100% achievement of weekly targets.
- Oversee and assess Test2
Pass evaluations to confirm mastery of each life skill. - Implement focused interventions for students experiencing academic or engagement setbacks, diagnosing issues and developing recovery strategies.
- Cultivate authentic relationships to build trust, enabling coaching through resistance, distraction, and uncertainty.
- Providing lectures or traditional academic instruction.
- Creating original lesson plans or curriculum materials.
- Handling parent communications or administrative school functions.
- Evaluating homework or preparing for standardized tests.
- Operating independently; you work as part of a campus team.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3+ years of direct experience working with Pre‑K through 8th grade students (teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program leadership).
- Demonstrated experience motivating or coaching such students toward objectives, with at least one concrete example you can articulate.
- Ability to present a concise life‑skills workshop outline (subject matter, objectives, mastery verification, facilitation approach).
- Daily active use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
- Availability to work on‑site at Alpha’s Springfield campus (relocation assistance available).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Background in youth sports coaching, camp leadership, or after‑school programs with direct responsibility for motivating children to achieve specific objectives.
- History of high personal achievement (academic distinctions, competitive athletics, or leadership positions requiring sustained excellence).
- Storytelling capability: maintain attention of Pre‑K through 8th grade for an hour without volume escalation.
- Success in engaging disengaged or resistant students and converting them into active participants.
This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) position. The compensation level is $100,000 per year ($50 per hour) paid weekly. The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement as a Contractor of Record with Crossover. Payment is made weekly. The position is immediately available.
