We're Hiring:
Engineering Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing (Special Processes)
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, leading cross-functional teams, optimizing special manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards, and supporting strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing, Process, and Quality Engineers.
- Drive process improvements across Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing (Plating, Anodizing, Passivation), and Advanced Coatings.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap standards.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and production readiness.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers to deliver
- Lead CAPEX projects involving new equipment, automation, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing
- 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
- Strong expertise in Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing, or Aerospace Coating technologies.
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap audits.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
