We are seeking civil and mechanical engineers to join our project engineering team. We are looking for creative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet. As an Applications Engineer, this individual will play a key role in designing, estimating, and qualifying for Giga Watts worth of Solar Capacity around the world. This is a prime opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their professional skills and gain experience in the exciting market of Solar PV.
Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- Performengineeringanalysis,includingstructuralcalculationsforcompanyproducts,inaccordancewithapplicablecodesandstandards.
- Support Sales Staffinperformingpreliminaryprojectanalysis ,estimatingmaterialtake-offs,andrespondingtotechnicalquestions.
- Evaluateinbounddocumentationtoidentifypotentialhurdlestosuccessfulprojectcompletion Interfacewithcompanystaff,clientcommercialandtechnicalpersonnel
- Drafttechnicalprequalificationdocuments(plans,assemblydrawings,and details) forgroundmountedsolarrackingsystems
- Propose, design and validate new ways of reducing the total amount of structural material in racking systems to reduce the overall cost of the system without compromise to quality
Applications Engineer Qualification /Requirements:
- Bachelor sin Engineering Civilor Mechanical Engineeringorsimilar
- Minimum1yearofrelevantengineering,project management,sales,orestimatingexperiencepreferred
- Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings,specifications,reports
- Abilitytoperformworkindependentlyandreliablyaccordingtoworkschedulesandassignments
- Capabilityfornavigating,interpretingandapplyingbuildingcoderequirements
- ProficiencyinAutoCAD
- Mustbeself-directedandresourceful,detailorientedandabletomanagemultiplepriorities,comfortable
- workinginafast-paced environment.
- ExperiencewithsolarPVtechnologypreferredbutnotrequired.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
