This business focuses on events within Sports, Leisure, Outdoor, Adventure and Lifestyle. Having been established for many years, their events are fresh, creative and full of energy, best in show events that make people want to return year on year.
With more shows being added to their US portfolio, it’s time to scale!
The PositionAs an Event Director, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue across your event. Working with key stakeholders internally to drive marketing and content activity, working with project managers and ops to ensure floor plans are correct.
Working with key accounts and new business to drive activations, sponsorship and attendance. We’re looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, someone with a growth mindset and someone who is passionate and dedicated to creating amazing events.
The role will require you to win new business, be commercially astute and drive the event forward year after year. You have the backing of a wider team, you’ll have no direct reports to start off with, this may change as the team grows.
What we’re looking for- 5+ years in events
- Been a Sales Director, Event Director or held a similar position
- Been responsible for events both sales focused, marketing and operationally.
- Understand the event landscape how to ensure a smooth‑running event
