Description:

This is a part-time, on-site Trivia Host role based in South Norwalk, CT

The Trivia Host will lead live trivia events, including welcoming guests, explaining rules, reading questions, managing rounds, and announcing winners. They will keep the energy high, engage with players, encourage participation, and ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear public speaking, active listening, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Customer Service experience, with a focus on hospitality, conflict de-escalation, and creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
• Training or coaching experience, such as guiding groups, explaining rules or processes, and giving feedback in a friendly, supportive way.
• Background or familiarity with Food & Beverage environments, including working smoothly with bar or restaurant staff during events.
• Sales or promotional skills, including encouraging repeat attendance, promoting specials, and representing the brand positively.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working evenings or weekends as needed for events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the venue, and handle light event setup or teardown.
• Prior hosting, emceeing, theater, or performance experience is a plus but not required.
