We're working on a newly created Vice President, Accounting opportunity with a growing investment management platform in the Fairfield County, CT area.
This role reports directly to the CFO and will oversee management company accounting, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and financial planning activities. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help build and enhance finance infrastructure as the firm continues to grow.
Requirements- 6-10 years of accounting and finance experience
- Management company accounting experience within asset management, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, or financial services
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Tax compliance and tax planning experience
- Experience partnering with auditors and external tax advisors
