Payrate: $42.00 - $44.00/hr summary:
This role involves ensuring the integrity of financial data related to revenues and expenses and serving as a financial partner to assigned show teams. The position requires preparing event budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic plan projections, as well as analyzing profit and loss for assigned events.
- Prepare detailed event budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze event revenue and expenses versus budget/forecast and provide analysis and summary of movements.
- Establish guidelines for show teams to achieve monthly reporting timelines and maintain open communication.
- Review and approve purchase orders, vendor invoices, and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and review current business processes.
- Review general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, support schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Provide guidance and information in support of assigned show groups.
- Recommend and establish best practices within the finance group and event teams.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and sales.
- Assess bad debt reserve and prepare write‑off entries as needed.
- Manage on‑site trade show financial needs, including recording and reconciling cash receipt entries.
- Verify totals to reports provided by Registration Company and provide additional financial support as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations.
- Experience in Oracle Accounting software (2‑3 years).
- Experience in P&L management of multiple revenue and cost streams (2‑3 years).
Desired
Skills:
- Experience working with teams to build/manage revenue and cost forecast projections.
- Experience submitting journal entries in Oracle.
- Personable and able to work with different personality types.
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.00 - $44.00 /hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
