Bank Teller

Our client, a well-established and community-focused Connecticut-based bank, is seeking a customer-oriented Bank Teller to join its team at the Norwalk branch. The Bank Teller serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling a variety of financial transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to building strong customer relationships.

• Process routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking products and services to branch team members.
• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing branch operations as needed.
• Support branch initiatives and contribute to achieving customer service and operational goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years cash handling, teller, retail, or customer service experience within a banking environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and office technology.
