PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Own and enhance regular financial and operational reporting
- Analyze sales, margin, customer, subscription, marketing and operational performance, identifying trends and explaining variances to budget, forecast and prior year
- Identify key risks and opportunities and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Support month-end reporting and management accounts analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support commercial forecasting
- Partner with business teams to develop assumptions and provide analytical support for regular and ad hoc forecasts
- Support and/or lead elements of the annual budget, reforecast and long-range planning processes
- Act as a trusted finance partner to functional leaders
- Evaluate new initiatives, commercial investments, promotions and partner opportunities
- Translate complex data into meaningful business insights
- Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting suites that improve visibility and usability of financial and operational data
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support board reporting, management presentations, and strategic initiatives
- Undertake deep-dive analysis on specific business questions, such as customer behavior, profitability, marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Support partner reporting, royalty calculations or other business cases as required
- Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, business analytics or a related analytical role
- Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, performance reporting and financial modelling
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large data sets and build accurate, flexible models
- Experience with Power BI or similar a plus
