Trade Operations Lead

Position Overview:

The firm is looking to bring on a Trade Operations Team Lead to oversee post-trade and middle office functions across a multi-asset investment platform. This individual will lead a team, manage critical trade lifecycle processes, and partner closely with investment, risk, technology and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop an operations team supporting trade support, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Oversee post-trade processing across multiple asset classes.
• Manage trade settlements and reconciliation activities, ensuring timely resolution of exceptions.
• Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues.
• Partner with internal teams and external counter parties to support daily operations.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain strong controls, procedures, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of operations or middle office experience within investment management, hedge funds, or financial services.
• Prior people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle events, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and futures.
• Familiarity with industry platforms and operational workflow tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
