Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role involves assisting in invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, within a hospital setting. The technologist will support the medical team by preparing equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting during procedures to ensure patient safety and procedural success.

    Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:

    State of Connecticut Radiographer license; ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCIM; minimum 1 year of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Electrophysiology Laboratory experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with sterile technique in invasive cardiovascular procedures; proficiency in monitoring hemodynamic status and ECG; knowledge of arterial closure devices and sheath removal techniques
  • Additional Information:
    Provides assistance to hospital and medical staff by scrubbing and utilizing sterile technique in all invasive cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty. Prepares surgical trays and materials, monitors hemodynamic status, and documents procedure details. Assists with patient preparation, equipment calibration, and post-procedure care.
