Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• On-call required after hours, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and maintain sterile technique during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty.
• Prepare surgical trays, equipment, and the cath lab for procedures.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG, oxygen saturation, and cardiac outputs.
• Obtain medical history, review labs, educate patients/families, and obtain informed consent.
• Prepare and position patients, connect monitoring devices, perform ECGs, prep access sites, and document care.
• Perform daily QA checks and calibrate radiographic and hemodynamic equipment.
• Assist with arterial closure devices, sheath removal, and achieving hemostasis.

Requirements:

• Current Connecticut State Radiographer license
• ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
