  • Partner closely with the broader Market Access team to develop, align, and communicate payer engagement strategies, contracting priorities, and tactical plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical and Medical Affairs, Outcomes Research, Marketing, Billing, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Regulatory teams to develop evidence-based value propositions and support payer engagement activities.
  • Demonstrate an ownership mentality by proactively managing assigned accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and driving accountability for access and reimbursement objectives.
  • Foster a highly collaborative environment by building deep, strategic relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to advance organizational and patient access goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of payer interactions, contracting activities, and engagement outcomes to monitor progress, evaluate performance, and inform future account and contracting strategies.

Successful candidates will have strong leadership skills and experience in securing payer coverage and negotiating contracts, ideally with a background in the diagnostic industry. Candidates should possess strong communication and organization skills, as well as an ability to manage, track, and coordinate complex, simultaneous initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving annual targets
  • Direct experience with or demonstrated understanding of the health care revenue cycle
  • Proficiency in handling intricate details related to both quantitative reimbursement and legal language ensuring they meet overall business objectives
  • Proven track‑record of successful negotiations with payers
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to take initiative and act independently
  • Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills
