About the Role:

EVEN Hotel by IHG in Norwalk, CT is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team! You ll be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting great drinks and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. If you love people, great cocktails, and a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests and patrons
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
• Engage guests with friendly, attentive service to enhance the overall hotel experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen staff as needed
• Handle cash and POS transactions, including opening and closing bar tabs
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible beverage service standards
• Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and supply ordering

Requirements:

• Prior bartending or bar service experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• TIPS, Serv Safe Alcohol, or equivalent responsible beverage service certification preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Positive, professional demeanor with a team-first attitude
