The Sr. HRIS Analyst - Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll is directly responsible for the design, development and support of Workday Absence and Time Tracking. This position will collaborate closely with stakeholders across HR, IT and Finance to deliver scalable solutions, ensure data accuracy and support ongoing Workday enhancements.
Absence, Time Tracking & PayrollServe as the subject matter expert for Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll functionality, configuration, and best practices.
Design, configure, and maintain absence plans, accruals, time entry codes, time calculations, work schedules, and related business processes.
Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate gross‑to‑net outcomes, compliance with federal/state/local regulations, and seamless end‑to‑end processing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time entry, time approvals, accrual calculations, leave eligibility, and payroll results.
Support annual and cyclical processes such as yearend payroll, PTO resets, and policy updates.
Analyze system impacts of policy changes and recommend scalable configuration solutions.
Collaborate with Operations and HR to optimize workforce timekeeping practices and ensure accurate labor reporting.
Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.
Configure Discovery Boards and Worksheets to deliver actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
Audit and validate HR data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
Provide post‑production support across Workday HCM modules.
Support testing and configuration efforts for system upgrades and new functionality.
Play a key role in onboarding new acquisitions—including data migration, system setup, and testing.
Respond to and resolve tickets in the HRIS queue efficiently.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a knowledge‑sharing culture.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
Hospitality industry experience a strong plus
Skills and Abilities
Expert‑level hands‑on experience configuring Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll is required
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast‑paced environment
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
Solid understanding of core HR business processes and interdependencies with Payroll, IT, and Finance
Prior experience with Workday acquisitions, data loads, and configuration a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally to company properties
Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
