The People Operations team at Open Table is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience while prioritizing efficiency and scalability. As a Global Mobility & Immigration Partner, you will lead global mobility and immigration needs and drive processes to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Evolve Open Table’s global mobility and immigration programs to ensure compliance, scalability, and a consistent employee experience across all markets globally.
  • Proactively gather and share knowledge on immigration laws, visa requirements, and standard methodologies with HR Business Partners and employees.
  • Own and lead the end-to-end process for global mobility, business travel and immigration cases, ensuring efficient and timely completion while maintaining a positive employee experience.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies to align with local legal requirements and company objectives.
  • Identify challenges and collaborate with internal teams and external parties to address issues with innovative solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Business Partners, external counsel, and employees, providing proactive case status updates and efficient process management.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel to ensure timely and accurate information and alignment among all parties.
  • Work with People Operations Specialists to align immigration and mobility with onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration, leveraging knowledge of local regulations to ensure compliance and avoid delays.
  • Partner with Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Legal to ensure smooth case management.
  • Identify and implement scalable, structured approaches to case handling to improve efficiency and reduce urgent requests.
  • Establish processes for collecting and analyzing costs related to immigration and mobility, including relocation, visa expirations, renewals, and new applications to inform budgeting and decision-making.
  • Review and refine current processes to improve communication and visibility for partners; regularly seek feedback and adjust strategies as needed.
Job Specifications
  • 5+ years of experience leading global mobility and immigration processes, including visa applications, renewals, and relocations across multiple regions, with emphasis on USA and European immigration laws.
  • Knowledge of immigration laws, visa categories, work permits, and global mobility processes, particularly in Europe.
  • Experience managing sophisticated cases with tight deadlines and end-to-end visa and relocation handling.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and reporting data related to immigration and mobility.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining case tracking systems and improving process efficiency.
  • Experience with HR technology (e.g., Workday and Zendesk).
  • Experience managing budgets for global mobility programs, including forecasting and cost analysis.
  • Flexible with working hours due to the global reach of the business.
