Essential
Job Responsibilities Responsible for generating qualified leads through a variety of recruitment activities – mass mailings, advertisements, employee referrals, cold calling, follow up on employment inquiries, etc.
Shows initiative and creativity with hard to fill positions, or when new positions are developed.
Keeps abreast of new recruiting techniques including internet and social networking areas
Tracks aging of open positions and interviews through regular recruitment reports
Adheres to established policy for salary exceptions and bonuses.
Maintains current and accurate databases of candidates.
At the direction of the Director of Recruitment places ads on web sites, sends mass mailings and adheres to advertising budget as assigned by the Director of Recruitment.
Projects a positive and professional image at all times, both over the phone and at public functions.
Meets with hiring managers on a regular basis to determine staffing needs.
Carefully screens and refers appropriate candidates to appropriate hiring managers.
Coordinates interview and follows up with candidate/hiring manager to assess interest level and determine next steps.
Conducts and documents reference checks, verify licensure and adheres to established confidentiality standards.
Presents job offers as approved by hiring manager. Negotiates salary within established guidelines and policy.
Coordinates start date and orientation schedule with candidate.
Prepares offer letters as assigned and make verbal offers with accepted candidates.
Follows up with new hire after 30 days to gain feedback on job satisfaction, orientation and to solicit referrals.
Functions as an effective team member through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental and company goals.
Willingly assumes tasks/projects as needed for overall success of the team.
Identifies appropriate job fairs to attend including colleges, associations and conventions as appropriate. Promotes integration of Constellation Health Services vision, mission and values into daily operations.
Assists with the coordination of employee engagement activities including but not limited to internal/external social activities, functions, trips and community service activities.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communications or related
Business degree preferred.
Previous recruitment experience or Human Resources experience preferred, ideally in a health care environment.
Exceptional oral, communication and telephone skills.
Superior written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to superior customer services to both applicants and employees.
