Senior Systems Engineer; MSP

We’re a boutique, security-focused MSP supporting law firms, accounting groups, and investment organizations across Fairfield County and NYC. Security isn’t an add-on here—it’s core to how we operate. We build custom tools, invest heavily in in-house solutions, and stay ahead of evolving threats.

This is a senior, high-impact role. You’ll act as the right hand to the Technical Manager, owning projects, leading implementations, and handling true Level 3 escalations. If you like autonomy, technical depth, and real responsibility, this role delivers.

• Lead project-based deployments and implementation of new technologies
• Handle L3 escalations (this is not a ticket-heavy desk role)
• Design and evaluate custom solutions for client environments
• Work across Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and light networking
• Create tools, scripts, and automations to improve team efficiency
• Serve as a senior technical voice—knowing when to run with solutions and when to collaborate

On a busy week, the service desk sees ~30 tickets total. Your time is spent building, improving, and modernizing environments, not clearing queues.

• Strong MSP background is required
• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience (Tier 2.5–3 level)
• Light networking experience (firewalls, switches)
• Experience with Power Shell or scripting is a big plus
• Curious, driven, and able to figure things out independently
