Senior Information Technology Audit Manager

Connecticut | Manufacturing | Hybrid (some business travel)

We are looking for a Senior IT & Cybersecurity Audit Manager to join a global Internal Audit team. This role is responsible for evaluating IT general controls, cybersecurity controls, and overall risk management practices across the organisation.

You will partner with IT, finance and business leadership to assess risk, strengthen controls and support the company’s cybersecurity posture in a complex, global environment.

• Lead and execute IT audit engagements, including ITGCs, cybersecurity reviews, operational audits and SOX testing
• Support enterprise risk assessments, including the development of risk and control matrices
• Plan and scope audits based on risk prioritisation and business needs
• Evaluate IT systems, infrastructure and security controls to identify gaps and improvement areas
• Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risk and strengthen control environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business functions to understand processes and risks
• Prepare and present audit findings and reports to senior leadership
• Track audit issues and monitor remediation progress
• Perform cybersecurity-related reviews, including vulnerability assessments and control testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• Professional certification required (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CEH or similar)
• 6–8+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk or cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Experience assessing IT controls, infrastructure and systems environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and risk implications
• Clear communication skills, including report writing and executive-level presentations
