Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence. This role is ideal for an early‑career cybersecurity professional looking to build hands‑on experience in threat analysis, intelligence reporting, and security operations support under the guidance of senior analysts.
The Associate Analyst will focus on tactical intelligence, indicator handling, and research while developing a deeper understanding of adversary behavior and organizational risk.
Responsibilities- Monitor and triage threat intelligence feeds, alerts, and advisories from internal and external sources.
- Assist in the analysis and validation of indicators of compromise (IOCs) such as IPs, domains, hashes, and URLs.
- Conduct open‑source intelligence (OSINT) research on emerging threats, malware, and threat actors.
- Support senior analysts with intelligence reports, threat briefs, and daily/weekly summaries.
- Map basic adversary activity to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK with guidance.
- Provide tactical threat intelligence support to SOC and incident response teams.
- Maintain and update threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and indicator repositories.
- Participate in post‑incident reviews by researching relevant threat activity.
- Document findings, processes, and lessons learned.
- Continuously develop technical and analytical skills through training and mentoring.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, incident response, or related roles.
- Foundational understanding of cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and credential abuse.
- Experience analyzing IOCs, TTPs, and campaign data.
- Strong curiosity, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly document findings and communicate with technical teams.
