Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed manual and automated test plans on mobile and web applications
- Ensure the seamless functionality of systems
- Coordinate testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs
- Lead comprehensive regression testing to verify system performance after fixes
- Drive the validation of test cases, ensuring they are thorough and effective
- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual and automated test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Modify detailed functional specifications
- Experience in driving Automation framework strategy selection, design, and implementation for large scale projects
- Coach analysts through test strategies for individual systems and programs
- Be a subject matter expert on all common systems used at HPOne
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of QA experience
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes (i.e., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with test management and defect tracking software tools (i.e., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Ability to implement test automation strategies
- Proficiency in test case automation using Mabl or other QA automation tools
- A solid understanding of SOAP and/or REST API’s
- Ability to understand complex business systems and developed functional specifications
- Ability to use SQL and write queries
- Knowledge of web services, HTML, Java Script
- Consumer Facing Mobile applications and Web experience
