Warehouse Host (Lake Compounce – Seasonal Food & Beverage)

Warehouse Host duties include rotating and delivering stock to food locations, ensuring product availability, and maintaining a clean work area.

• Ensure product availability while maintaining a clean work area.
• Perform all warehouse duties following safety procedures and using appropriate PPE.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices.
• Unload trucks, count quantities, and verify deliveries.
• Process, receive, rotate, and correctly store retail, paper, food, and food product items (dry storage, frozen, refrigerated).
• Deliver orders to retail stands, concessions, catering areas, and other facilities using pick‑up truck, golf cart, van, hand cart, or by hand.
• Complete orders quickly and responsively.
• Deliver ice to designated locations before park opening and throughout the day as needed.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to management.
• Perform inventory controls, keep quality standards during audits.
• Conduct routine product inventories.
• Complete and update daily inventory logs.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to lead or supervisor.
• Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of warehouse and equipment.
• Assist at other F&B locations or catering events as needed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience (plus but not required).
• English fluency;
  Spanish or other bilingual language skills a plus.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with Connecticut child labor laws.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work until later hours of the evening, from open to close.
• Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shift.
• Compliance with uniform policies.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve questions, problems, and concerns positively and professionally.
• Ability to follow direction, multi‑task, and work independently or as part of a team.

• Stand, walk, and remain on feet for the majority of the workday.
• Frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders.
• Work in enclosed spaces and refrigerated areas.
• Withstand heat and humidity in food stands and restaurants.
• Use a step ladder safely.
• Carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Consistently use hands to grasp, control, and move objects/tools.
• See details of objects more than a few feet away.

• Frequent interaction with indoor and outdoor park areas.
• Variable outside temperatures: high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions.
• Frequent exposure to refrigerated temperatures.
• Frequent repetitive motion and lifting of heavy objects.
• Exposure to dust and chemical cleaning agents.
• Frequent interruptions and requests requiring reprioritization.
