Order Management Specialist
The Order Management Specialist oversees all electronic and manual orders for North America, ensuring accurate entry, timely processing, and on-time delivery for a newly created Amazon business line. This role serves as a key liaison between sales, third-party logistics providers, and buyers, resolving order issues, coordinating shipping schedules, and maintaining data integrity within SAP and related systems.
Responsibilities- Manage all incoming EDI and manual orders for North America, including checking, editing, and releasing orders upon confirmation from the sales team.
- Coordinate shipping cadence with the sales team for all product launches to meet on-time delivery and fill rate requirements.
- Resolve blocked and incomplete orders, including issues related to IDOCs, pricing, master data, and other order-related discrepancies.
- Act as the direct point of contact for third-party logistics (3PL) customer service teams in the US and Canada.
- Proactively manage the workload with each 3PL to process orders efficiently and complete each month's open orders within designated shipping windows.
- Communicate directly with buyers to request and secure extensions to purchase order ship windows when necessary.
- Input all manual orders using Excel spreadsheets provided by the sales team, as well as ad-hoc order requests from office and field personnel.
- Assist the team in maintaining and updating orders in SAP to ensure accurate and current information.
- Provide shipping information to sales, office, and field teams, including routing details and customs commercial invoices as needed.
- Process customer returns (CHC), ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Support order processing and data entry activities to maintain accurate records for finance, inventory, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve order management processes for the new Amazon business line.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in order management, customer service, or supply chain operations, preferably within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer goods, or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with order entry and order processing, including EDI and manual orders.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with SAP experience considered a strong advantage.
- Strong MS Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUPs for reporting, analysis, and data management.
- Experience working with 3PL providers and understanding of logistics and distribution processes.
- Customer service experience with the ability to communicate effectively with buyers, sales teams, and logistics partners.
- Data entry accuracy and attention to detail in managing orders, pricing, and master data.
- Understanding of inventory management, supply chain operations, and finance-related aspects of order processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to identify and resolve order-related issues.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with consumer goods, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with Amazon-related order management and operations.
- Working knowledge of EDI processes and standards.
- Exposure to operations, inventory, and supply chain workflows in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work with routing instructions and customs commercial invoice requirements.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and collaboration within a small, focused team.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
