Our client is seeking a Director of Title Operations to lead and oversee its title operations function. This is a newly created, high-impact leadership opportunity with significant flexibility to shape the role based on the successful candidate's background and expertise.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced title professional with a proven track record of managing operations, leading teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring exceptional client service. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while overseeing the day-to-day administration and operational performance of the title business.
Responsibilities- Oversee all title operations, office administration, and workflow management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations, escrow, title, and administrative staff.
- Drive operational efficiencies and implement best practices to improve productivity and service delivery.
- Establish and refine policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational improvements.
- Monitor workload distribution, staffing, and performance metrics to ensure efficient execution.
- Foster strong relationships with underwriters, lenders, attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, underwriting guidelines, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to enhance operational performance.
- Serve as a senior operational leader and trusted resource across the organization.
- 6+ years of title industry experience, including leadership or operational management responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of title production, escrow, closings, underwriting, and real estate transaction workflows.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing high-volume operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and build scalable operational infrastructure.
- Executive presence with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization.
