Responsibilities
- Supervise Energy Efficiency Consultants and direct department staff
- Oversee personnel development, performance assessments, recruitment, and reporting procedures
- Manage energy efficiency portfolios and execute channel strategies across the multi-state territory
- Oversee budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, and energy-savings tracking
- Develop RFPs for contracted services
- Integrate strategic activities among customers, program administrators, advisory consultants, vendors, channel teams, sales teams, and implementation teams
- Research, identify, develop, and implement value-added products and services
- Develop relationships with customers, stakeholders, contractors, and channel partners
- Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure delivery on time, on budget, and within approved scope
- Execute department plans for regulatory compliance and oversight of ratepayer funds
- Develop draft testimony and testify before regulatory and legislative bodies as assigned
- Represent Eversource at national energy-efficiency conferences and stakeholder events
- Respond to emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location when required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management or energy efficiency
- Ability to interpret energy efficiency / renewable technologies and understand their application
- Fundamental understanding of financial principles
- Ability to use PC desktop applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Initiative and ability to make decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information
- Leadership, mentoring, and networking skills
- In-depth knowledge of Eversource's mission, organization, functional areas and resources, business strategies, Codes of Conduct, Business Ethics, and Environmental Policies
- Experience and/or aptitude in development and management of channel partnerships and programs desired
- Experience in communication at various levels of organizations, companies and institutions
- Relevant energy efficiency certifications desired
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- Applicants must not require immigration-related sponsorship to start employment with Eversource
- Must be able to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and up to five days in the office if needed or if policy changes
Demonstrates expertise in energy efficiency program management, including budgeting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Proven ability to lead teams, develop strategic partnerships, and implement process improvements across multi-state territories.
