- Work Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday- 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM. Thursday- 9:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and Saturday 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM.

The current vacancies from this job posting will be filled at the Danbury, Norwalk and Old Saybrook Branch. This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies at other DMV branch locations as they become available. Other branch locations are Bridgeport, Cheshire, Enfield, Hamden, New Britain, Norwich, Waterbury, Wethersfield, Windham (Willimantic). Norwalk Branch may require you to work in Stamford satellite location;
Windham (Willimantic) may require you to work in Putnam satellite location.
The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a detail oriented and customer focused Motor Vehicle Examiner to join our team. In this role, you will review and process license and registration applications, validate documentation, handle financial transactions, and provide clear and accurate information to the public.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where accuracy, professionalism, and positive customer interactions are essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to public service while developing expertise in motor vehicle laws, policies, and procedures. This is an entry level position with opportunities for advancement. Candidates must have face to face customer service experience.
ABOUTUS
At the DMV, we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of the motoring public through education, outreach and enforcement in the areas of vehicle weight and safety inspections, heavy duty diesel emission testing, traffic enforcement and investigations of any motor vehicle related complaints.
