Material Handler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Material Handler to join our cutting-edge manufacturing team in Norwalk Connecticut. This role is critical to maintaining efficient production flow, accurate inventory control, and on-time customer shipments. The ideal candidate has hands‑on SAP experience, forklift experience, and experience cleaning, preparing, and packaging materials for shipment.

• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
• Accurately enter and track inventory transactions in SAP
• Stage raw materials and finished goods for production and shipment
• Clean, prepare, and package materials according to company and customer specifications
• Label, palletize, and secure shipments to ensure safe transport
• Maintain organized inventory locations and perform cycle counts
• Support production teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials to workstations
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with shipping documentation and carrier coordination as needed

• Minimum 2+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience using SAP for inventory management and transaction processing
• Valid forklift certification and proven forklift operating experience
• Experience cleaning, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse scanning systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Hours are Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

$23/hr
