SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides direct patient care guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) scope of practice. A Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services. The RN assesses patient needs, develops care plans, implements and evaluates medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards.
