Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) – Norwalk Hospital, Connecticut (one hour from New York City).
Norwalk Hospital seeks a board‑certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of advanced practice experience in Cardiology or Medicine to provide coverage for stress testing (regular & nuclear), noninvasive cardiology testing, and cross‑cover TEE and cardioversions. Responsibilities include performing or supporting inpatient and outpatient consults, collaborating with the CHF Readmission Team on improvement projects, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities- Provide coverage for stress testing (regular and nuclear) and noninvasive cardiology testing.
- Cross cover transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversions.
- Perform inpatient and outpatient consults.
- Collaborate with the CHF Readmission Team on improvement projects.
- Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Board‑certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum one year of advanced practice experience in Cardiology or Medicine.
- Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Current State of Connecticut NP or PA license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA registration.
Salary: $75.00 per hour (per diem rate).
