• Provides care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, which filters waste and excess fluid from the blood
• Involves ministering dialysis treatments, monitoring patients’ vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.) before, during, and after dialysis
• Sets up, monitors, and manages the dialysis machine during treatment, ensuring proper settings and patient safety
• Administers medications, including those to manage blood pressure, anemia, and other conditions related to kidney disease
• Evaluates patients’ responses to dialysis treatment, identifies any adverse reactions, and makes necessary adjustments to the treatment plan
• Prepares patients for treatment, ensures they are comfortable, and provides post-treatment care and education

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
