Night shift 11PM- 7AM
Duties and Responsibilities:- Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. day-to-day nursing activities to guarantee residents receive top-quality care consistently.
- Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
- Coordinating nursing activities in alignment with medical requirements, physician directives, and general care plans.
- Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs.
- Overseeing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Previous Experience as a RN Charge Nurse preferred
- Registered Nurse Licensed
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university; BSN preferred.
- Current active license in the State of Connecticut as Registered Nurse with at least two years of nursing.
- Point Click Care software proficiency
