Per Diem RN - Oncology Department

Overview

This Per Diem Clinical RN Coordinator - Oncology position in Norwalk, CT involves coordinating outpatient oncology/hematology care to ensure high-quality, safe patient treatment.

• Assist physicians with patient assessments, care coordination, and education on treatment plans and side effects.
• Manage clinical data, review abnormal results, and facilitate timely interventions.
• Order, document, and verify treatment doses, ensuring safety and compliance with guidelines.
• Support patient education, participate in quality improvement, and oversee training of staff and medical assistants.
• Perform routine diagnostic tests, assist with outpatient procedures, and maintain medical equipment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary services and ensure documentation and billing compliance.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in CT.
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Preferred: BSN and Oncology Certification.

Schedule and compensation:
Max of 3 days/week; days are variable shifts. Salary ranges from $41.00 to $76.16 per hour.
