As a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager
, you will play a critical role in leading our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care and services.
About the Role:
Lead by Example: As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our high standards of care are met and exceeded.
Collaborative Leadership: Foster a positive and supportive work environment, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Patient-Centered Care: Ensure that our residents receive individualized, compassionate care that respects their dignity and autonomy.
Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize our processes and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing Unit Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Staff Development: Mentor and coach our nursing staff to improve their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitoring patient outcomes and implementing changes to improve our care.
- Accountability: Ensure that our unit is in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Joint Commission standards.
