Responsibilities- Completes patient assessment and reassessment as clinically indicated. Documents detailed info with plan, interventions, outcomes reflecting patient's physical, mental, emotional status.
- Ensures appropriate documentation based on level of care, including transfer/discharge documentation.
Graduated from an accredited nursing school with an Associate’s Degree (required) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
Other InformationCurrent, unobstructed Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals).
American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical‑Surgical Nurses Certification preferred (based on specialty hours).
Working Conditions- Manual: significant manual skills, motor coordination, finger dexterity.
- Occupational: some occupational risk.
- Physical Effort: medium to heavy effort, may exert up to 35 lbs.
- Physical Environment: exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste.
Credentials: RN, BLS, NRP.
