Weekend LPN

Hartford Healthcare seeks a Weekend LPN to provide high-quality, compassionate care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. You will deliver direct bedside care, administer medications, monitor patient status, and support RNs and providers across weekend shifts. Working in our inclusive, team-based environment, you'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, document in the EMR, educate patients and families, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients on weekend shifts
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and scope of practice
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition using EMRCollaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
• Perform wound care, catheter care, and other routine nursing procedures
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered care environment
• Participate in ongoing training and competency development
