Position: Quality Assurance Coordinator for Residential Services

$58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year

We are seeking a detail-focused and experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to create, maintain, and monitor systems that support compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements across our group homes and apartments within Residential Services.

Day in the Life of the Quality Assurance Coordinator:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QA) serves as a key point of contact between STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies, helping ensure compliance and appropriate oversight for the individuals we support. In this role, the QA Coordinator will prepare for audits, develop and maintain policies and procedures, address safety concerns as they arise, submit required information to various agencies, and monitor staff adherence to established quality standards.

The QA Coordinator works closely with the Residential Director and group home managers to ensure STAR's residential properties meet the requirements established by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other applicable regulatory agencies.

Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of DDS requirements, and supervisory experience in a similar environment. This is an important role in ensuring that proper procedures are consistently followed throughout STAR's residential programs, allowing direct-care staff to remain focused on creating meaningful daily experiences for the people we serve.

Qualifications For The Job
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Supervisory experience in a residential or related setting
  • Previous experience with the Department of Developmental Services preferred
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Compassion and the ability to recognize the potential in every individual
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
Schedule

Full Time, Monday-Friday
