## Description
** Job Summary (Essential Functions):
** The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to members and guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. This hands-on role supports the Head Bartender and works closely with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure timely, professional, and high-quality service in all club outlets.
** Job Tasks/Duties:
*** Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards.
* Provides attentive, friendly service to members and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Maintains a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, glassware, and garnishes.
* Assists in managing beverage inventory and communicates shortages to the Head Bartender or Food & Beverage Supervisor.
* Follows responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.
* Works collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
* Assists with opening, closing, and side work duties for the bar area.
* Supports special events, banquets, and club functions as needed.
* Participates in ongoing training and development to improve service and product knowledge.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Bartender, Food & Beverage Supervisor, or Clubhouse Manager.
** Education and/or

Experience:

*** High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or mixology preferred.
* Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality environment.
* Prior experience in a member-based or high-end service environment preferred.
** Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:
*** Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, wine, beer, and spirits.
* Ability to provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to members and guests.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work collaboratively with bar and service staff.
* Ability to maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar areas.
* Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and responsible alcohol service.
* Commitment to high standards of safety, sanitation, and member-focused hospitality.

Special Requirements :
*** TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification required.
* Serv Safe Alcohol or equivalent preferred.
* Knowledge of cocktail, beer, and wine trends preferred.
** Physical Demands and Work Environment:
*** Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Fast-paced environment requiring quick movement, multitasking, and bending/stooping.
* Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak service.
