Job Description:
- Execute Regional Sales Strategy:
Leverage your solar industry knowledge to execute effective sales strategies, maximizing volume and driving profitable growth across the territory. - Build Strategic Relationships:
Serve as the primary relationship manager for distributors, installers, and battery partners within the territory to drive growth and alignment. - Deliver High-Impact Presentations:
Develop and present creative, results-oriented sales and training presentations to key stakeholders. - Communicate Value:
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to clearly communicate ConnectDER products' value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing to provide product demonstrations, deliver training, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows. - Analyze & Forecast:
Monitor ongoing business trends to accurately forecast sales volumes and provide feedback on necessary product or process changes.
- 3-5 years of solar market experience, preferably in Channel sales
- Technical understanding of the electrical grid and solar PV installation
- Expert knowledge of the Northeast solar/clean energy market
- Proven experience building sales plans and implementing sales strategies that drive results/profitability
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to influence business partners
- Skilled in business acumen, financial competency, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field - Experience training and presenting materials to audiences of various sizes
