PositionSummary
Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, a Club Services Associate will execute all club services, including re‑gripping, re‑shafting, loft and lie adjustments, and front‑end operations such as returns, exchanges, and promotions. The Associate will maintain a premier merchandise presentation, assess and diagnose club issues, communicate repair options, maintain accurate service records, and foster a culture of safety and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with every customer and provide world‑class service, building lasting relationships.
- Execute all club services: re‑gripping, re‑shafting, loft & lie measurements/adjustments.
- Manage front‑end operations: returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, coupons.
- Maintain front‑end and service merchandise at a premium stock and visual level to drive sales.
- Keep all club services and front‑end areas, equipment, and supplies maintained and operational.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
- Maintain the club services desk and surrounding area in a clean, professional presentation.
- Communicate repair options, costs, and timelines clearly to customers.
- Assess and diagnose club issues, track work progress, and maintain accurate service records via the Golf & Tennis Services App.
- Stay updated on merchandising promotions and marketing events; support promotions using The Links bulletins.
- Educate and promote product and service offerings to customers.
- Provide operational and merchandising feedback to the Sales and Service Manager.
- Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills; effective verbal and written communication, including cross‑functional coordination.
- Computer: Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organization: Ability to organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years in retail materials handling, club repair or similar experience preferred.
The role requires standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, moving throughout the store, and lifting a 30‑lb box overhead. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
