At Lifeway Mobility we provide accessibility solutions for individuals and businesses across 12 states. We are seeking an Elevator Technician Apprentice for a four‑year paid apprenticeship program. The role focuses on installing and repairing elevators, stairlifts, and other mobility equipment.

• Install and repair accessibility products including stairlifts, elevators, and platform lifts.
• Explain products to customers and answer questions.
• Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer system.
• Receive manufacturer training and participate in on‑the‑job training (paid time).
• Pick up and load the company vehicle each morning at the Danielson location.
• Work on jobs throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island.
• Handle both residential and commercial installations.
• Jobs may take several hours to several days; weekend work is optional.

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background screen.
• Ability to drive the company vehicle to various client sites and work flexible hours as needed to complete jobs.

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year‑round.
• Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at height.
