We are hiring an installer for burglar & fire alarms, surveillance camera systems, access control, audio/video wiring and equipment. This position requires the candidate to have a valid CT electrical license: C5, C6, L5, L6. If you have relevant industry experience and are currently enrolled in an apprenticeship, we would encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities- Install low voltage cabling and cabling assemblies (i.e., metallic & non-metallic conduit and raceways) according to the National Electrical Code in both residential and commercial settings.
- Install and program new alarm and security/fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and A/V equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and testing of systems.
- Monitor inventory of service parts and keep the vehicle stocked properly.
- Perform all duties in a neat and workmanlike manner.
- Train customers how to use their new systems.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Be courteous, respectful, and patient with customers and employees.
- Be on time for work.
- Have one of the following Connecticut low voltage licenses: C5, C6, L5, L6, E2, E1.
- Proven experience completing security/fire alarm, access control, CCTV, installation, maintenance, or other related work from start to finish.
- Proficiency in installing (bending) EMT.
- Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in challenging physical environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience pulling cable and drilling holes (not through finished floors).
- Experience working with wireless technology (WiFi and alarm RF protocols).
- Clean driving record.
