We’re expanding and looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail‑oriented Diesel Mechanic to take on a key role in our service department at Mark Schaffer Excavating & Trucking.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose and repair heavy‑duty semis & dump trucks (Cummins, Paccar, Peterbilt & Kenworth)
- Diagnose and repair semi trailers, hydraulics & ABS systems
- Perform routine maintenance, DOT inspections, and major overhauls
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools for advanced troubleshooting (Bendix, Wabco, Cummins Insite, Davie
4) - Mentor junior technicians and lead by example
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- 5+ years of hands‑on diesel mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- CDL & Physical Card
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
