Astacio Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is looking for an experienced Master Plumber to join our team in Norwalk, CT. Because our plumbing work extends across both Connecticut and neighboring New York markets, our ideal candidate holds an active Connecticut P-1 license along with Master Plumber licensing that supports work in Westchester County, NY. Putnam County licensing is an additional plus.
This is a hands-on position for an accomplished plumber who still wants to work in the field. You’ll run residential plumbing calls, diagnose and complete complex work, and remain productive while also serving as a trusted technical resource for the plumbers around you.
Your experience will help set the standard for workmanship, code compliance, safety, troubleshooting, and customer service across the plumbing team.

Diagnose, repair, replace, and install residential plumbing systems.
Complete plumbing, drain, water heater, piping, fixture, pump, valve, and related service work.
Handle complex plumbing calls and provide technical guidance when other plumbers need support.
Perform work in accordance with applicable Connecticut and New York plumbing codes, permitting requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
Serve as a plumbing subject matter expert and resource for technicians in the field.
Help establish and maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, code compliance, and customer service.
Review challenging jobs, callbacks, or quality concerns and help determine appropriate solutions.
Perform field quality checks and provide coaching when opportunities for improvement are identified.
Mentor apprentices and experienced plumbers to strengthen their technical skills and diagnostic abilities.
Participate in interviewing and evaluating prospective plumbing team members.
Provide ongoing feedback to help ensure plumbers meet expectations for productivity, workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.
Lead by example while continuing to run productive residential service calls.
Clearly explain diagnoses and available repair or replacement options to homeowners.
Obtain customer authorization before beginning work and collect payment when appropriate.
Complete accurate estimates, invoices, service notes, photos, and required documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, properly stocked company vehicle.
Communicate parts, scheduling, permitting, or return-trip needs promptly.
Work closely with dispatch, customer service, warehouse, and location leadership to keep work moving efficiently.
Active Connecticut P-1 Plumbing & Piping Contractor license strongly preferred.
Master Plumber licensing that supports work in Westchester County, New York strongly preferred.
Putnam County, NY licensing is a plus.
Extensive residential plumbing service, repair, and installation experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, permitting requirements, and residential plumbing systems.
Ability to independently diagnose and complete complex plumbing work.
