City of Norwalk is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to perform manual work in the construction, installation, repair and upkeep of parks, fields and recreational areas. You will assist in vehicle prep, fueling, lubricants and follow safety procedures.
The role requires lifting 25–50 pounds, use of hand tools, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. On-the-job supervision by foreman with opportunities to operate equipment and contribute to snow removal when needed.
