- Maintain and build customer relationships by meeting requests in a timely manner
- Design layouts for service additions and changes to the company electric system
- Perform technical calculations and prepare work orders
- Communicate company electric service installation requirements internally and externally
- Design, negotiate, and coordinate residential, commercial, and industrial service installations
- Prepare cost estimates, work orders, written service agreements, easement documents, and private property permits
- Design, negotiate, and coordinate relocation of overhead and underground facilities
- Design and coordinate residential streetlight installations
- Prepare work orders for security lighting and unmetered services
- Prepare residential or commercial contracts
- Assist with emergency restoration efforts
- Collaborate with supervisors, consultants, engineers, customers, contractors, municipal and state contacts, and internal departments
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or a High School diploma/equivalent and one year of formal technical training
- Four to six years of related electrical distribution experience
- Sound knowledge of electrical distribution systems and construction standards and techniques
- Successful completion of the TECH Test

- Ability to respond to emergency situations outside normal responsibilities, work hours, and location
