Job Description

A large brand with a small franchise growing in Iowa. We offer part‑time, full‑time, or career‑path opportunities with flexible scheduling.

We are seeking qualified delivery drivers for local stores. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.

Minimum requirements:

• 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Insured vehicle with ability to operate in adverse terrain.
• Navigation skills to locate addresses within the delivery area.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and manage inventory.
• Prepare product and receive telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

• Understand and give written instructions accurately.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.

• Perform basic arithmetic and handle monetary change.
• Take and process orders accurately.
• Operate a computer keyboard or touch‑screen for order entry.
• Coordinate hand‑eye movements for precise, speedy tasks.

Exposure to:

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F+.
• Fumes, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Good hearing for telephone conversations.
• Near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

The role requires the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, maintain quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments.

Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

Short distances and short durations on varied surfaces.

• Unloading bulk deliveries using a hand truck.
• Cases up to 50 pounds (3' x 1.5').
• Stacking onto shelves up to 72″ high.

• Large cans, 3lb 7oz.
• Pizza sauce, 30lb.
• Pizza dough trays, approx. 12lb each.

Moving trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5lb of force.

Occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.

Drivers can progress to management, general manager, franchising, or corporate operations positions.
