Twilight Gardens, located in Norwalk, OH
, is seeking an energetic, responsible, and motivated professional to join our leadership team as our Business Office Manager (BOM).

This position requires Long-Term Care experience and insurance verification/billing experience.

The Business Office Manager plays a key role in the financial and administrative operations of our skilled nursing facility, working closely with residents, families, facility leadership, government agencies, insurance companies, and corporate support teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, and collections

  • Complete insurance verification and assist with billing processes

  • Maintain accurate resident financial records and accounts

  • Manage resident trust accounts

  • Complete month-end reporting and account reconciliation

  • Work with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers

  • Communicate professionally with residents and families regarding billing and account questions

  • Maintain accurate documentation and business office records

  • Implement and consistently administer company programs, policies, and procedures

  • Collaborate with facility leadership and corporate departments to support smooth business operations

Required Qualifications:
  • Long-Term Care experience required

  • Insurance verification and billing experience required

  • 2–3 years of Business Office Manager/Director experience in skilled nursing preferred

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

  • Ability to effectively work with residents, families, staff, government agencies, and insurance companies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to implement and consistently administer programs, policies, and procedures
