General

Summary:

The clerical specialist provides high-level administrative support. Your job duties may include scheduling conference calls or meetings, preparing correspondence and statistical reports, and maintaining sensitive data.

Essential Functions:
  • Reviews records for qualitative and quantitative deficiencies; corrects computer data entry errors as needed.
  • Assists internal and external customers with requests for medical records via phone or walk-in, authenticating accuracy of patient identification and authorization for release of information, as appropriate.
  • Maintains a close working relationship with other departments within Fisher-Titus.
  • Participates in departmental cross training, quality reviews, and project activities as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education Preferred

High School or better in General.
